Triple Pleat Curtain Tape

Triple Pleat Curtain Tape creates a pretty fan shaped curtain heading which is timeless and ever-popular.

Triple pleat tape is sometimes called pinch pleats or also french pleats.

When the drawcords are pulled up the tape creates three pleats. Then a curtain hook called a pinch pleat hook is used to nip the pleats together to form the fan shape. Use the top pocket for a pole so the curtain hangs below it. If you want the curtain to cover the pole or track use a lower pocket.

This tape is  76mm/3 inch deep and is ideal for sill length curtains, or light fabrics in longer lengths.

Before the tape is pulled up it has 5 pleat repeats per metre. The space between the pleat before and after being pulled up is 9.5 cm

To buy the correct amount of tape measure your track or pole double the measurement, round up to the next full metre and add another metre

It can be used 2 times fabric fullness, and has 3 rows of string pockets  and 2 drawcords
It is made from 48% polyester, 52% polypropylene
